Concerted geoheritage conservation effort in Malaysia has started soon after the inception of the Malaysian Geological Heritage Group in 1996. This book compiles some selected papers resulted from more than a decade long research works on geoheritage resources in Malaysia and were previously published in the Geological Heritage Book series. This compilation contains papers that were published out of research works done by the members of the Malaysian Geological Heritage Group who come from all over the country and representing various universities, research institutes, NGOs and government department.
