Steps: UP + DOWN 05/06 is Taylor’s School of Architecture Building Design’s publication of student projects and essays. The title UP + DOWN was choosen to highlight the ups and downs that students experience throughout their education. The works compiled are the results of some of their finest hours.

This book is conceived as an idea book, combining project pictorials, images, theories, quotations and curious facts for students and professionals alike to read and ponder.

Separated into two sections, the book consists of selected projects and essays arranged in nine themes; each exploring different subjects of creativity, it serves as an insight into expressive demonstrations of design, colour and originality to inspire all.

This book does not set out to teach lessons but is full of the wisdom and insights of our students from different stages of their three year education.
