周力同志逝世后，有关者在整理其遗物时，发现了 《烽火中的牙拉顶》改写稿1172页，计20章，30多万字，已是个长篇，仍未命名，只写到霹雳大部队到达牙拉顶，故事尚未结束。该改写稿之下，还积压不少空稿纸。间中夹着《欧罗心摩战斗》（抗英时期部队的手抄油印本），《1950年3月25日欧罗西摩河战役检讨》（手抄本）以及《欧罗西摩河伏击战场地图》（手绘草图与说明）等等。天妒英才，夫复何言！周力同志未能完成全部改写。庆幸的是，留给了后者看到可能的后续情节以及某些不可或缺的文件资料。
